Lovely hosts Jayne and Jordan made our stay delightful. Only downside was the hard bed, but still a fantastic stay.

The location is serene. surrounded by stunning landscapes and close to local attractions. The breakfast was superb, particularly the homemade jams! Jane and Jordan truly make you feel at home… their hospitality shines through!

The only downside was the restriction on eating in the room. which can be a bit inconvenient at times.

We experienced several issues during our stay. The floors creaked loudly, and we were unfortunately woken up by noisy neighbors early in the morning. we lost hot water while showering, and it took time for maintenance to resolve this issue, which was very frustrating.

Had a lovely time at Thistle Guesthouse. The horses grazing in the nearby paddock were such a delightful sight every morning. Breakfast was a real treat—wonderful options and fantastic homemade advice for exploring the area. the room I stayed in felt a bit cramped. The wardrobe was nearly inaccessible because of the bed's positioning. The shower pressure could also use a boost, making it less frustrating after a long day of adventures. Would recommend for the views and breakfast, but note the room design needs some tweaking.

We enjoyed our two-night stay in a cozy twin room with amazing scenic views. A highlight was the delightful breakfast! Although the floorboards were creaky, the overall ambiance made it worthwhile. Pro tip, Ask about the homemade jams at breakfast!

The hosts were incredibly friendly, creating a cozy atmosphere that made it easy to feel at home. A highlight was the delicious breakfast, particularly the fluffy pancakes that paired perfectly with the local jam. the shower pressure needed improvement, making long showers a bit frustrating, and the room layout felt a bit cramped, limiting movement. a pleasant experience, despite some minor inconveniences.

The house had a comfortable lounge area to relax in. the ensuite toilet was modern but the bed felt firmer than I prefer.

The view from the room was stunning, and I was thrilled with how spotless the entire suite was! I enjoyed relaxing in the cozy garden area and made use of the charming leisure room. The only bummer was the noisy floors, but it didn't really ruin my stay. definitely grab a book to unwind here! 📚

Great for Solo Travelers

Check-in was smooth, and Jayne was a tremendous help. The breakfast was freshly made as I requested and even got some brilliant cooking tunes from Jordan.

It wasn't inexpensive, but for the experience, it was totally worth it.
